School-Wide Structured Literacy & BSLA

We believe that consistency is key to student success. That is why our Structured Literacy approach isn’t just for our junior school—our entire teaching staff across all year levels is trained in the Better Start Literacy Approach (BSLA). This systematic, explicit method focuses on the essential building blocks of literacy: phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, and comprehension. By maintaining this unified approach across all year groups, we ensure a seamless, continuous learning journey as students progress through the school.

Specialist Intervention Support

We understand that every child learns at their own pace. To ensure no student is left behind, we have a dedicated Specialist Literacy Intervention Teacher on staff. This expert provides targeted, intensive support for students who need an extra boost, working alongside classroom teachers to close gaps early and accelerate progress.

Our English Language Programme (ELL)

Led by our Specialist ELL Teacher, this programme provides tailored support in warm, small-group settings.
