We’re excited to share a new initiative in 2025 designed to strengthen the partnership between our school and our incredible whānau. The Council meets once or twice a term to discuss various aspects of school life and in 2025, have a particular focus on reviewing the school’s proposed strategic planning.
As this is a new initiative, we are beginning with a small group of parent representatives to ensure we establish a strong and effective foundation. While we aren’t seeking additional members for the Council at this time, you are welcome to contact the Principal with any requests to participate or be involved.
The entire TPS whānau have the opportunity to feedback, share ideas or ask questions and these can be directly communicated to the school office or the principal. We will invite input from the wider community on specific topics as the need arises. Look out for opportunities to contribute through surveys, feedback forms, or designated input sessions advertised in our newsletters. The Community Council is an advisory and feedback group; no decisions are made by this group.
